Who Are the Crashers?
The Moonlight Crashers is a very different volleyball club. Based in Encinitas, CA near Moonlight Beach, the club is a unique combination of high level volleyball in a small, family oriented group. Unlike most other clubs, the Crashers are not in the "business" of volleyball to make money. We just pass on the actual expenses, resulting in club fees around $1500 for the season. It is a goal of the Club to provide a low cost, but high value volleyball experience in an environment of growth and cooperation.
2013 Season
This year, Moonlight Crashers will field two teams (16-1, 17-1). Both teams will compete in all SCVA regional tournaments. Our 17-1 team is planning on attending the Las Vegas Classic and the SoCal JNQ. Depending on family interest, our 16-1 team will have the option of attending the SoCal JNQ.
16-1: We currently have no roster spots available.
17-1: We're looking for a middle blocker to complete our roster. For the right player, we'll consider having someone "play up" or convert the team to 18's. Please contact us for more info.
We're also considering adding an additional 17's/18's team that would either compete in SCVA regional tournaments or the local Spike-Fest series (held at Epic VBC). Please contact us for more info.
